It can be <a href="/facts/Run-length_encoding/3k6x9afM">run-length encoded</a> (RLE). <a href="/facts/FFmpeg/85yf3kHI">FFmpeg</a> and <a href="/facts/ImageMagick/sIC3ycHo">ImageMagick</a>, among others, support this format. </p>
