The final was played on 20 May 2004. </p><p><a href="/facts/FC_K%C3%B8benhavn/xGdNXPsh">FC København</a> ended as cup winner, but as they also won the <a href="/facts/Danish_Superliga/uAQuyM71">Danish Superliga</a>, the <a href="/facts/UEFA_Cup/aQeea4zp">UEFA Cup</a>-spot went to the cup runner-up <a href="/facts/AaB_Fodbold/fMYJor56">Aalborg BK</a>. </p>
