<p>Mixmaster is a Type II <a href="/facts/Anonymous_remailer/3fBH8t2n">anonymous remailer</a> which sends messages in fixed-size packets and reorders them, preventing anyone watching the messages go in and out of remailers from tracing them. It is an implementation of a <a href="/facts/David_Chaum/zQybQkFS">David Chaum</a>'s <a href="/facts/Mix_network/jrYemgoF">mix network</a>. </p>
