<p><i>proteins@home</i> was a <a href="/facts/Volunteer_computing/YkXGa3N8">volunteer computing</a> project that used the <a href="/facts/Berkeley_Open_Infrastructure_for_Network_Computing/RPaqqojG">BOINC</a> architecture. The project was run by the Department of Biology at <a href="/facts/%C3%89cole_Polytechnique/0DS7aMaR">École Polytechnique</a>. The project began on December 28, 2006, and ended in June 2008. </p>
