Prior to his election as mayor, he was an <a href="/facts/Israel_Air_Force/bcm4GjTf">Israel Air Force</a> pilot and the country's Chief of Police. Turner was the founder and head of the <a href="/facts/Israeli_Air_Force_Museum/bTtUxR2j">Israeli Air Force Museum</a>. </p>
