The name is also used for <a href="/facts/Eugene_Nida/eHhWVSyJ">Eugene Nida</a>'s technique for mapping <a href="/facts/Lexicon/MxfVm3gl">lexical</a> items from a <a href="/facts/Source_text/CAG9Fpbz">source language</a> to a <a href="/facts/Target_language_(translation)/2foI82so">receptor language</a> in <a href="/facts/Translation/2foI82so">translation</a> theory. </p>
