<p>Scalar–tensor–vector gravity (STVG) is a modified theory of <a href="/facts/Gravity/bqAN7DdQ">gravity</a> developed by <a href="/facts/John_Moffat_(physicist)/wVnzR97g">John Moffat</a>, a researcher at the <a href="/facts/Perimeter_Institute_for_Theoretical_Physics/QM6XFQve">Perimeter Institute for Theoretical Physics</a> in <a href="/facts/Waterloo%2c_Ontario/pWzUEmIH">Waterloo, Ontario</a>. The theory is also often referred to by the acronym MOG (<i>MO</i>dified <i>G</i>ravity). </p>
