In specific methods, temperatures and percent compression are specified. The term is normally applied to soft materials such as <a href="/facts/Elastomers/kCSD0udN">elastomers</a> and foams. Compression is normally measured in two ways: <i>compression set</i> <i>A</i> and <i>compression set</i> <i>B</i>. </p>
