It was formerly manufactured by <a href="/facts/Freescale_Semiconductor/mRjBBbeX">Freescale Semiconductor</a> (formerly the semiconductor division of <a href="/facts/Motorola/ztqczx68">Motorola</a>) which merged with NXP in 2015. </p>
