The other ways are <a href="/facts/Wire-frame_model/Jly7tJrk">wireframe</a> (lines and curves) and solids. <a href="/facts/Point_cloud/dN8eG4AU">Point clouds</a> are also sometimes used as temporary ways to represent an object, with the goal of using the points to create one or more of the three permanent representations. </p>
