Eyring developed the Absolute Rate Theory or <a href="/facts/Transition_state_theory/s3MPBbpx">Transition state theory</a> of chemical reactions, connecting the fields of chemistry and physics through atomic theory, quantum theory, and statistical mechanics. </p>
